2024 Elections: We’ll use the Jehovah’s Witnesses approach – Ofosu Ampofo

In a recent address at the inauguration ceremony of the new executives of the NDC Canada Chapter, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the former Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), proposed a novel strategy for garnering support in the upcoming elections.

Drawing inspiration from the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ renowned house-to-house approach, Ampofo emphasized the need for the NDC to adopt a similar grassroots strategy to expand its voter base.

The event, closely monitored by Radiooneghana.com, highlighting the efficacy of Jehovah’s Witnesses’ door-to-door campaign methodology, Ofosu Ampofo underscored its potential to establish personal connections and engage with voters on a deeper level.

“Let’s use the Jehovah’s Witnesses Hhouse to house approach. When they come to your house to preach the gospel to you and you don’t give them ears, they won’t give up…they continue till they get people in the house to listen,” he sated.

Ampofo stressed the importance of direct engagement with citizens, particularly in communities where traditional campaigning methods may fall short.
