The Member of Parliament for Fanteakwa South, Duke Ofori Atta, has donated medical equipment and construction materials to the Bosome Health Facility as part of efforts to improve healthcare delivery in the district.
The intervention forms part of the MP’s broader commitment to strengthening the health sector within his constituency. Speaking to the media during the presentation, Hon. Ofori Atta reiterated that access to quality healthcare remains a key priority of his leadership.

“Health is one of the critical sectors I am determined to improve. Any nation whose people do not enjoy good health will inevitably suffer. It is therefore important that I continue to support healthcare delivery in my constituency,” he stated.

The items presented included two HP laptops, ten adult weighing scales, a microscope, three hospital chairs (including specialised chairs for laboratory use), six pick-up vehicle tyres, as well as quantities of floor tiles, cement, sand, and wood to support renovation works at the facility.

Hon. Ofori Atta commended the staff of the Bosome Health Facility for their dedication and service to the community, encouraging them to maintain their commitment despite existing challenges. He also assured them of his continued advocacy in Parliament for improved working conditions and the posting of additional health personnel to the district.
He further urged management of the facility to ensure proper maintenance of the equipment to guarantee long-term benefits for residents of Bosome and the wider Fanteakwa South District.

Receiving the items on behalf of the facility, the Acting Officer in Charge, Madam Anita, expressed appreciation to the MP for what she described as a timely intervention. She noted that the equipment would significantly enhance service delivery, while the building materials would help improve the condition of the facility.

“We are deeply grateful for this support. These items will go a long way in improving healthcare delivery in this community, and the renovation materials will help upgrade our facility. We look forward to continued support,” she said.
