Personnel of the National Ambulance Service Ghana in the Volta Region have undergone an intensive clinical training programme in Ho, aimed at enhancing emergency cardiac care and pre-hospital intervention capabilities.

The training, led by Paramedic Wonder Kponor, focused on practical, hands-on application of advanced life support techniques and the effective use of critical medical equipment in cardiac emergencies.

Key areas covered during the session included cardiac monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation, cardioversion and pacing for managing unstable arrhythmias, as well as the operation of mechanical chest compression devices during prolonged resuscitation efforts.
