Bunso Fire Service Pays Official Visit to Radio1 100.7 FM to Deepen Cooperation

The Bunso Fire Service has paid a courtesy call on the management of Radio1 100.7 FM at Bunso to strengthen the existing relationship between the two institutions and promote public education on fire safety.

The delegation was led by the Bunso Fire Service Commander, DO II Kwame Tettey Kodzie, accompanied by other officers from the station.
During the visit, the Fire Service emphasized the importance of building a strong partnership with the media to enhance public awareness on fire prevention and safety. The officers educated the management and staff of Radio1 100.7 FM on fire prevention measures, emergency preparedness, and the need to observe safety protocols both at the workplace and at home.

Commander DO II Kwame Tettey Kodzie noted that the media plays a vital role in educating the public and expressed confidence that the collaboration between the Bunso Fire Service and Radio1 100.7 FM would help reduce fire outbreaks through continuous public education.
Management of Radio1 100.7 FM warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation for the visit.

They reaffirmed the station’s commitment to partnering with the Ghana National Fire Service to promote fire safety awareness and educate listeners on preventive measures.

The visit ended with a renewed commitment from both institutions to work together in serving the people of Bunso and surrounding communities through education, awareness, and community engagement.
