Kyebi Akwadum Enstoolled New Royal Krontihene, Baffour Akosua Amoako

The traditional leadership of Kyebi Akwadum has officially enstooled Baffour Akosua Amoako as the new Royal Krontihene of the community, with the responsibility of supporting the Chief and championing development initiatives.

Speaking to the media after the enstoolment ceremony, Baffour Akosua Amoako expressed her gratitude to the Chief of Kyebi Akwadum, Berima Pobi Asomaning III, for the confidence reposed in her. She pledged to serve the people with honesty, humility, and dedication while working closely with the Chief to promote peace, unity, and development.

“I am delighted to accept this responsibility entrusted to me by my Chief. I will serve with integrity and ensure that this noble office is never brought into disrepute. I will uphold the customs and traditions that guide this enstoolment and work hand in hand with my Chief for the progress of Kyebi Akwadum,” she stated.

The new Krontihene also pledged to advocate for peace and justice within the community, emphasizing that these values are essential for sustainable development. She assured residents of her unwavering commitment to supporting Berima Pobi Asomaning III in advancing the welfare of the people.

Touching on education, Baffour Akosua Amoako appealed to parents to invest in their children’s education, describing them as the future leaders of the nation. She also encouraged traders and other members of the community to work diligently and contribute to the development of Kyebi Akwadum.

“Wisdom is like a tree, no one person can embrace it alone.” She stressed the importance of seeking counsel from elders and the community, adding that she would always remain open to advice in the discharge of her duties.

“I will stand with my people through both good and difficult times. I am ready to serve as your humble servant at any time. Together with my Chief, we will work tirelessly to bring meaningful development to Kyebi Akwadum,” she concluded.

The enstoolment of Baffour Akosua Amoako is expected to strengthen the traditional leadership of Kyebi Akwadum as the community continues its efforts toward peace, unity, and sustainable development.
