Ghanaian highlife singer Akwaboah has dismissed rumours suggesting his marriage is facing challenges, describing the claims as false and insisting he is happier than ever with his wife.
Speaking in an interview, the award winning musician explained that some of his recent social media posts had been misunderstood, leading to widespread speculation about the state of his marriage.

Akwaboah revealed that he and his wife have been married for two years and said their relationship has been peaceful and fulfilling. He dismissed claims that his earlier posts were an indication of problems at home.
The singer also rejected suggestions that his wife was not taking good care of him, describing such assertions as unfounded.

He further opened up about how he and his wife deal with criticism on social media. According to him, he had a candid conversation with her before they got married, explaining the challenges of being married to a public figure and warning that she could face online attacks even when she had done nothing wrong.

Akwaboah said the couple now choose to treat most of the negative comments with humour rather than allowing them to affect their relationship.
The musician also revisited his previously discussed advice that couples should save GH¢8,000 before getting married. He noted that many people focused on the amount instead of the message behind it.
According to Akwaboah, “GH¢8,000 may not even be enough” to meet the financial demands that come with starting married life, especially for young couples.
His latest comments appear to put to rest the rumours surrounding his marriage, as he reaffirmed that he is content and continues to enjoy a happy married life.
