German international Alexander Zverev, 29, claims his second Grand Slam title of 2026 after defeating Ben Shelton in the US Open final by a score of 3 sets to 1.

In October 2023, Alexander Zverev received a penalty order and was fined 450,000 euros for causing bodily harm to his ex-partner, with whom he has a child. Zverev rejected the allegations and filed an objection to the order. The trial scheduled for May 2024 was halted after one week, and a separate settlement was reached between Zverev and his ex-girlfriend. In October 2020, Zverev was also accused of physical violence and controlling behavior by another former girlfriend. From the outset, he insisted he was innocent, and no legal proceedings took place.
