Russia Ready to Cooperate with Ghana Over Russian National’s Case

Russian Ambassador to Ghana, Andrei Ordash, says Russia is prepared to cooperate with Ghanaian authorities in addressing the case involving Russian national Vladislav Liulkov, who has been accused of secretly recording women in Ghana.

The Ambassador said Russia is willing to work with the relevant Ghanaian authorities to ensure the matter is handled appropriately and in accordance with the law.

The case involving Liulkov has attracted public attention following allegations that he recorded women without their knowledge or consent.

Speaking on the matter, Ambassador Ordash also called for the establishment of a formal extradition agreement between Ghana and Russia to strengthen legal cooperation between the two countries.

He noted that such an agreement would provide a clearer legal framework for dealing with cases involving nationals of either country who are wanted for alleged offences.

The call comes amid growing discussions over international cooperation in handling criminal cases that involve foreign nationals.

Ambassador Ordash reaffirmed Russia’s willingness to engage with Ghanaian authorities on the matter and stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral legal cooperation between Ghana and Russia.
