St.Mark Bethlehem Prayer Ministry Donates to Asiakwa SOS Children’s Village

The Founder and Leader of St. Mark Bethlehem Prayer Ministry, Apostle Mark David Sarpong Acheampong, together with members of the church, has donated various items to the Asiakwa SOS Children’s Village in the Abuakwa South Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The donation formed part of activities marking the ministry’s 10th anniversary celebration.

Speaking during the presentation, Apostle Mark David Sarpong Acheampong explained that the church decided to remember the children at the orphanage and put smiles on their faces as part of the anniversary celebrations.

He noted that children in orphanages deserve love, encouragement, better living conditions and prayers, stressing the need for society to support them.

As part of the visit, the Apostle and members of the ministry held prayer and music sessions with the children and staff of the SOS Children’s Village.

Apostle Acheampong also appealed to religious bodies, philanthropists, organisations and individuals to support orphanages and other vulnerable people in society. He said caring for widows and orphans, especially in difficult times, is an important teaching of the Bible.

Items presented to the SOS Children’s Village included bags of rice, cartons of drinks, sachet water, toiletries, ready-made male and female dresses, sugar, Milo, crates of eggs, soap and washing powder, among others.
The Mother-in-Charge of the SOS Children’s Village received the items on behalf of the children, management and staff. She expressed gratitude to Apostle Acheampong and the St. Mark Bethlehem Prayer Ministry for their kind gesture.

She also prayed for God to bless the ministry as it celebrates its 10th anniversary and replenish everything they had spent in supporting the children.

The donation brought joy to the children and highlighted the importance of extending love and support to vulnerable members of society.
