Eastern NDC Youth Organiser Endorses IB, Cites Integrity and Financial Commitment

The Eastern Regional Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Richard Nyarko, has endorsed Ibrahim Emmanuel, popularly known as IB, for the position of Eastern Regional Treasurer, describing him as a committed party member with the financial strength, experience and integrity needed to manage the party’s resources.

Speaking during IB’s campaign tour of the Eastern Region, Richard Nyarko said the party needed regional executives who were selfless, trustworthy and dedicated to serving the interest of the party.

He noted that IB had demonstrated his commitment to the NDC through his continuous financial contributions, even before expressing interest in contesting for a party position.

According to him, IB’s experience as a private businessman, coupled with his strong business connections and networks, makes him a suitable candidate for the position.

He stressed that finance plays a major role in political organisation and believes IB’s leadership could help reduce the financial challenges facing the party and provide the resources needed for its activities.

Richard Nyarko said IB also has plans to improve the welfare of delegates, constituency executives and branch executives, adding that his vision includes supporting party members who remain committed to the growth of the NDC.

He further disclosed that one of IB’s major commitments is to help the party acquire its own regional office instead of continuing to rent office space.

He explained that IB intends to contribute building materials, including cement, blocks, iron rods and financial support towards the construction of a permanent party office in the Eastern Region.

Richard Nyarko expressed confidence that IB’s election would bring new opportunities for the party, particularly in strengthening its financial position, supporting its members and improving its organisational structures.

He called on delegates to support IB’s candidature, saying his experience, generosity and commitment to the party make him a strong candidate for the position of Eastern Regional Treasurer.
