Just as the President’s pronouncement of ‘Year Of Return’ has seen many returnees into the country, the youth of Wirenkyiren Amanfrom is organising a similar program dubbed “Yɛnkɔ Fie 2019” which is intended to see a lot of diasporas come back home.
Wirenkyiren Amanfrom Youth Association (WAYA) has set December 31 2019 and 1st January 2020 for the Yɛnkɔ fie program.
Yɛnkɔ fie is composed of several activities not limited to; Bonfire Night/Akwaaba Night at Kissiwaa Pub.
On the 1st of January; there would be Health walk, Clean up exercise, Float, Football match and street jamz.
DJ Slimbo and Dj Kobby Cutie of Radio 1 would be the DJs for the program.
It would be more of merry making, excitement and enjoyment through out the program as the organisers look forward to welcoming a lot of diasporas to the program.
