The founder and leader of Libreria Ghana and a member of Book Drop Ghana, Ms Sylvia Arthur revealed to the chief and the gathering that she saw a publication on Instagram from radiooneghana100.7fm somewhere last year where the chief of the area, Osabarima Baafi Sarpong Kumakuma was seeking for help in building a community library and she realised its a very good idea and can be a project for Book Drop Ghana.

“I saw the publication on Instagram on radio1Ghana that the chief in one of the communities is looking for help to build a library. So I contacted Hive Earth to help the community” Sylvia Arthur disclosed.

Hive Earth is also an NGO who build using our local methods. They use latrite and water but build to suit the demands of modern building and construction agencies. Their representatives, Kwame and Joelle also told the Chief and elders that they are ready to build the structure and what they would need from the chief and community is the parcel of land.

“Like Sylvia said, we build the house and they stock it. We are ready to build the house and the building will provide its own electricity because we will install wind turbines, solar and even water harvesting plant. What we need from you is the land”, Kwame said.
