NPP Is For The Rich Only – Political Researcher

A Political Research member in the Opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC in the Abuakwa South Constituency in the Eastern Region, Adu Sarpong Addo-Aikins has described the ruling New Patriotic Party as a Party for the rich only in that they do not consider the poor in any decisions they take rendering the majority of the population to bath in abject poverty.

He said if really NPP is for the poor as his counterpart from the NPP at the studio vehemently insisted NPP is for the poor, they wouldn’t increase VAT at the detriment of the Ghanaian  populace.

He also argued that since NPP came to power, they have decreased Plane fares but there is constant increase of petrol and lorry fares and that account to why he is of the affirmation that the NPP is for the rich only.

He made these revelations on Radio1FM, on Saturday October 20, 2018 when the host of the ISSUES, Owurakou Asamoah asked of his consent when the NPP pundit said the NPP government is a listening government, came for the poor and will ensure equity in their governance.

Mr Addo-Aikins claimed if NPP who objected to infrastructural development can now go for $2bn loan to build roads, Bridges, Hospitals etc. at the expense of the poor tax payers, then NPP is for the Rich only.

He continued to put before the public that it is only the Ndcythat have good plans for the nation and therefore appeals to the nation to reconsider NDC and bring them back to power to continue the good deeds the left behind.
