Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the first Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC who doubles as the Director of Elections for the same Party and an aspirant for the National Chairman of NDC has been tipped as reigning higher above his other contenders, an astute member of the said.
In an interview with Jerry Hayward, a true NDC member in the Eastern Region, he told Radio 1 News that he wholeheartedly vouch for Samuel Ofosu Ampofo because of his experience and competence as he has moved through the ranks and file of the party, from Assembly member, DCE, NDC Organiser, Regional Minister, Deputy Regional Minister, Local government Minister, etc to the first National Vice Chairman of the NDC depicting he stands tall among his contenders.
When asked who the camp of Ofosu Ampofo fears, he said the camp fears no one but respects all and that with the experience Mr Ofosu Ampofo has, come what may, he’ll pass through vetting successfully and eventually help NDC win election 2020.
However, Mr Jerry Hayward said Mr Ofosu has been the longest serving Executive in the party and his experience, potentials and aspirations will help the party to win 2020 polls.
He thereby described Ofosu Ampofo as a walking Encyclopedia for the party and urged all delegates to consider him and vote him as their next National Chairman for the Party.
