“I believe this is not for anything else rather than the love and good intentions all of us have for our noble party, NDC. That is however the beauty of democracy – respect for diversity! In an interview with Radio 1 News, Amanda Okyere Kwatia revealed that she is championing a united front in the Suhum constituency because she believes unity, love and respect are the only antidotes to their parliamentary loss in the constituency. According to the highly spirited and determined woman, she wants to be the unifier in the constituency.

“Having publicly and privately engaged several party faithfuls in the constituency, i have come to realise that there are divisions in our party and with these divisions we can’t win power. However, i believe i have all it takes to unite our party. We need a united front to battle our opponents,” Amanda said.
This determined woman added that she has the energy, character, charisma and the capacity to serve and inspire the party members and also rebrand the image of NDC in Suhum constituency. She again revealed that there are a lot of party members in Suhum constituency and if all party members are to vote during election, the NDC will win Suhum constituency. She concluded by declaring full support for former Prez Mahama’s boot for boot comment that several opinion leaders have condemned.
It appears the Suhum race is getting tougher in NDC as several party members have shown interest in the race including the former MCE for the Municipality.
