Asamoah Gyan Happy To Play First 90 Minutes In A Year

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has expressed delight after playing full 90 minutes in his club side Kayserispor’s win over Karabukspor in the Turkish top flight.

This is the first time Gyan has played the entire duration of a game in a year following his reoccurring injuries.

“Great performance on Sunday, I was so happy for myself because for the first time in a year I was able to last the entire duration of the game,” he said

“I feel so good, I was able to play 90 minutes, great game although I didn’t get a goal but the performance was good.

“It was a good team performance and I am very happy for myself because it feels to be back.”

Kayserispor defeated Karabukspor 3-2 in a game which was keenly contested.
