My 26 years in Parliament is Because of a Bond – Bagbin

The second deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, (ASK Bagbin) has said the secret to his longest stay in Parliament is due to the fact that he has established a strong bond with his constituents.

 

Speaking on the Susubiribi Morning Show on Radio1FM, 100.7MHZ on Tuesday October 23, 2018 he told the host, Captain Kofi Owusu that his commitment to his constituents, based on trust, loyalty and being a listening Leaders makes the bond at Nadowli Constituency very concrete.

According to Hon. Bagbin, the Member of Parliament for Nadowli Constituency in the Upper West Region and have served as their MP for 26years, he is now vying to become the flagbearer of the largest opposition Party in the country, National Democratic Congress, NDC.

He said has held so many positions in government for about 18years. He further disclosed that he always responds to the calls of his constituents, go out with them and also gives the necessary advise needed.

However, Hon. Bagbin said based on his experience in Parliament, his influence in decision making and his council, he has got the name, If you don’t know anything in Parliament, ASK (Alban Sumana Kingsford) Bagbin. The secret behind his teaser ASK Bagbin.

Hon. Alban Bagbin together with about 12 aspirants are seeking to be endorsed by their party faithfuls to become the flagbearer of NDC to lead them to capture power of Election 2020.
