ATL Will Not Collapse – Alan Cash

The Trade and Industry Minister, Hon. Alan Kyeremateng popularly known in the Ghana Politics as Alan cash has assured the workers of Akosombo textiles limited that he in a capacity as the Trade Minister under the Akufo-Addo -Bawumia led NPP administration will never sit down and watch ATL collapse.

Speaking at the President’s visit to the company, Hon. Kyeremateng said it is amazing to how the distortion of facts can totally obscure the truth of every situation going on in ATL. He said the News Papers and and media platforms send misinformation to the public that ATL is at the verge of collapsing if not collapsed.

According to the Trade Minister, Akosombo Textiles Limited which was Established in 1967 is in full operation. The minister was however excited with the kind of reception given to President on their arrival. He said the factory in its full operation can employ over 3,500 workers in that it is the only fully integrated  Textile manufacturing operation in Ghana whose mode of work spans from spinning to waving to painting to dying.

The Minister was quick to add that the problems noted were due to the irresponsibility on the side of the former NDC administration and that the current President has intervened to introduce some key measures to address the issues.

He assured them that if all the policies are duly followed the fame of the company will be restored in good time.
